Pāpala kēpau

Pāpala Kēpau is found in gulch on waterfall hikes. Although secure, it doesn't really occur on the trail and sometimes you'll come across it if you go a little off trail. This is not to say you should go off trail to find it, that would be stupid. But if you are over zealous, then relax and go to the Manoa Cliffs Trail, there is a tree and it is labled.
