Appearance

  • Fern: Found in dry forest, upper portions
  • Height: No more than 3 feet, although the one's in Makaha valley are big
  • Leaves: Spindle shape, unlobed, on an unbranched stalk, not more than 2 inches wide
  • Can grow out of rocks and in this case a tree
