  • Leaves: Opposite pointed ovals, 1-7 inches long, new leaves on the end look like kissing lips
  • Flowers: Greenish/white, 4 petals looks like hooks

  • Southern KST between Hawaii Loa and Pu'u O Kona
  • 2018
  • The picture on the left was found on the KST near the same place as the picture above
  • Look at how the organization of the leaf is, it doesn't show the kissing lips, but it curls
