  • Location: All over KST especially near the top (able to tolerate wind)
  • Ancient uses: Fruit juice used to make dye for Kapa, used to make rope, roof for houses (thatch)
  • Modern uses: Dye
  • Scientific Name: Dianella sandwicenis
